Meliputi menentukan arsitektur perangkat keras, mengelola proyek secara terintegrasi (project integration management), mengelola ruang lingkup proyek (project scope management), mengelola kualitas proyek (project quality management), mengelola risiko keamanan informasi, menganalisis tools, menganalisis skalabilitas perangkat lunak, melakukan identifikasi library, komponen atau framework yang diperlukan, menggunakan SQL, mengimplementasikan algoritma pemrograman, melakukan migrasi ke teknologi baru, melakukan debugging, menerapkan pemrograman real time, menerapkan pemrograman paralel, menerapkan pemrograman multimedia, melaksanakan pengujian oleh pengguna (UAT), memberikan petunjuk teknis kepada pelanggan, melaksanakan cutover aplikasi, menganalisis dampak perubahan terhadap aplikasi, menerapkan alert notification jika aplikasi bermasalah, melakukan pemantauan resource yang digunakan aplikasi, dan melakukan pembaharuan perangkat lunak.
