A mentor across the whole program

You get one mentor for the whole program, so there's someone to ask when you're stuck. There's a mid check-in at Week 6, and two capstone clinics in Week 11 before your panel defense.

FAQ

Before you apply.

Is this suitable for beginners? +

No. This program starts where foundational analytics ends. You're expected to arrive with working SQL, basic Python, and descriptive statistics. If you're starting from zero, Data Analytics with AI is the right first step, and it leads here.

How is this different from Data Analytics with AI? +

Data Analytics with AI teaches you to understand the business, analyze the data and communicate the decision. This program teaches you to build the model, automate the workflow, and deploy and govern the data product. One gives you the answer. The other gives you a system that keeps producing answers.

What if I don't meet the prerequisites? +

Admissions will tell you during the process, and route you to Data Analytics with AI. The gate exists so the program can move at pace. Without it, we'd spend weeks reteaching fundamentals and dilute the whole thing.

What is the 1 SKS microcredential? +

An optional 1 SKS credit in Metode Statistika from Fakultas Teknologi Industri, ITB. Submit your Certificate of Completion, sit the assessment at ITB campus, and pay the credit fee. It is most useful if you plan to continue to a master’s at ITB, where the credit can count. The Certificate of Completion is what you get either way.

How much time does it take each week? +

Four live hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus lab work and capstone build time. Across the program that's about 52 live hours and 90 hours of structured practice.

Can I use AI in the capstone? +

Yes, and you're expected to. Every meaningful contribution gets logged and verified. The defense is the exception: no AI in the room. You explain your own data, statistics, model and recommendation.
